The studio
Cabinet Fantastic is a cabinetry design studio on SW Canyon Lane in Portland. Every project starts with a free design consultation at the showroom, 60 to 90 minutes, one-on-one, where your space, your style and your budget get mapped out together.
With several manufacturers to choose from, covering a wide variety of door styles and finishes, from modular to more fully custom, there is a right cabinetry line for your budget. Nothing you buy is pre-built. Every cabinet is built to your design specifications only.
What we do
From modular lines to fully custom work, every cabinet is built to your design specifications. Door styles range across flat panel, raised panel, reversed raised and solid beaded panel, with inset and beaded inset construction available in the Historic series, made the way cabinets were built 100 years ago.
Custom coloration is as simple as choosing from a paint fan deck. Dream it, draw it, build it.
Quartz and natural stone from an impressive lineup of well-known manufacturers, including Cambria, Caesarstone, Pental, Cosentino, Spectrum Quartz, Dal Tile One Quartz and Wilsonart. Wood tops come from Cafe Countertops, the only wood counter top made in America that is both food-prep-safe and suitable for sink areas.
Granite or quartz, marble or quartzite, teak or walnut. You will know exactly which material fits how you live before you choose.

Sixty to ninety minutes at the showroom, by appointment. Bring your Pinterest boards, your Houzz saves and your questions. You can also print and complete the project questionnaire ahead of time to streamline the conversation.
Functionality and construction specifics, fashion trends and budgetary scopes, explained plainly so you feel comfortable and well informed. The star of the show gets identified early, and everything else is designed to support it.
Thought-provoking questions and precise measurements, so the design highlights even the most intricate details of your space before anything is ordered.
Your cabinetry is built to your design specifications, never pre-built, and you are kept updated through the entire process, from design prep to installation.
About
A life-long Oregonian, Dan has resided in Washington County since 1993 and has been in the cabinet industry since 1995. He cut his teeth working at a higher-end design/build firm, then spent 14 years as a manufacturer representative covering the Pacific Northwest and Alaska, calling on hundreds of showrooms and business owners.
Most recently, Dan piloted the successful launch of a cabinet division for a local flooring chain before starting Cabinet Fantastic LLC. A veteran of 30+ years in the industry, he makes the cabinetry design process a breeze for his clients.
